Today we were up for an inspection, and just then the sun came out. In fact, it was our first glimpse of sunshine of the year - and it felt good, plain and simple. A little light in the face, a little colour in the snow, and that feeling that things are slowly but surely turning around.

“It was nice to see that everything is fine up there too. The snow is still firmly in place and it's a bit of a job to get around, but that's how it is. There are a few steps, a bit of creaking and a bit of ”where did we leave that thing, anyway?" - but that's also part of the charm.

And it's a really nice reminder of how lucky you are to be able to volunteer for Haldetoppen's friends.
